The highway called “Holiness”
Isaiah in Isaiah 35:8 describes a highway that is called “Holiness” as a place where …”People will declare the way itself to be holy—the route, “sacred.” And “only those who are right with God will be able to walk its pleasant path …”
Only those in right standing with God will be able to walk upon this highway called “Holiness.”
But is such a life possible, and if so, how can we accomplish living in a manner that will be pleasing to God. Let us be like the Bereans who searched out the matter according to Scripture to see if these things be so (see Acts 17:10-12).
We must “Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, since no one will see God without it” Hebrews.
We are a “scared offering that brings Him pleasure,” and this is why we must worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29).
However, the Apostle Paul describes this worship as being our “reasonable and essential service of worship.” But why does he describe this worship in such a manner? To find out we will continue on in our next episode of “Why the “Y” in Prayer Matters to God.” Selah 🙂
