Image result for psalms 145 - 150Father, we praise and worship You because of who You are! You are our God and our Kings, and we will continually bless your Name for all eternity. Our Father who is in heaven, You are great and greatly to be praised. Your greatness knows no limit and recognizes no boundary, so who is there that can measure or comprehend the beauty of Your glory which is due to You  alone.

One generation after another will celebrate Your great works, and they will pass on the story of Your powerful acts to their children and their children’s children will do the same. Father, there is nothing greater God than You, and we will sing of Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your grace as long as we have breath.

Father God, we will always sing of Your splendor and Your righteousness. Your kingdom will never end and Your rule will be from everlasting to everlasting as it will never end. Father, we thank You that in You there is always hope for a future, especially for those who walk humbly before You. Father, it is You who intimately knows and supplies our every need and for this we will give You the praise and the glory for all eternity.

Father, You will attend to the cry of the poor and needy, those who come before You with an upright and sorrowful heart, O God, You will never turn away from hearing their prayers.

Father God, because of Your goodness and mercy, we will always sing our praises to You as long as our breath fills  our lungs and there is blood that flows through our veins, especially because You are the One and Only True God who answers our prayers.

Father, we will trust You above all else, for You are our Creator and You are the Creator of the heavens and everything that dwells upon the face of the deep. Father God, You are He who works justice on behalf of the poor and needy, You free the prisoners, make the blind to see, You are willing to carry our burdens, and You love those who walk uprightly before You.

Father, You care for the stranger,  and You see to the needs of the orphans and the widows, and You will rule and reign over the nations for all eternity. Father, You are the Architect of the earth, You are building Jerusalem, You are finding the lost, and gathering Israel’s outcasts. You bind our wounds, and You heal the sorrows of our hearts.

Father, only You can counts all the stars within His hands, carefully fixing their number and giving them names. You are God the Lord who is great and greatly to be praised, because there nothing impossible with You. And although all power belongs to You, You are loving, compassionate, and wise beyond all measure, and for this we give You thanks.

Father, only You can blanket the heavens with clouds, only You can send rain to water the thirsty earth, and only You can pull up each blade of grass upon the mountainside. Father, You are He who opens Your hands to feed all the animals and only You can scatter the seed to nestlings when they cry.

Father, You Eternal take pleasure in those who worship You in Spirit and in truth, and in those who take the time to invest their hope in Your unfailing love. Father, it is Your divine power that reinforces Your city gates and blesses Your children while they are yet in the womb.

Father, it is You who establishes peace within your borders, You fill Your markets with hearty golden wheat, You command ripples across the earth, and Your Word runs swiftly on the feet of Your messengers.

Father, it is You who blankets the earth in wooly snow, and it is You who scatters frost like ashes over the land. It is You who throws down hail like stones falling from a mountain, so pray tell us, who is there that can withstand Your wintry blast? There is not one, no not one who can withstand You wintry blasts.

But Lord, in Your mercy, You send forth Your Word and the thaw begins, the spring winds blows thus gently stirring the waters back to life. Father, we join in with the Heavens to praise You for who You are. Father, we praise You with the heavenly hosts, just as the sun, moon and stars that are set in their places praise You in song as You are theirs and our Creator.

Father,  all creation joins together in a concert of praise to bless Your Holy Name. Father, You commanded and all things were created according to Your Holy Word which You decreed and declared concerning the things in the heavens and on the earth, including the fish in the sea along with the birds that fly in the air. Father, even the winds respond to the sound of Your voice. You speak and all creation obeys the sound of Your voice.

All kings and all nations, princes and all judges of the earth, All people, young men and women, old men and children alike will praise You is the Lord our God who is the Creator over all things and Ruler over all nations. Father, we will praise You with a new song day by day and night by night, and we will sing them with all of our might.

We will praise Your Name, and we will dance and sing to the rhythm of the tambourine, and to the tune of the harp. We will give You the Glory that is due Your Holy Name Father, for it is You who raises up the poor and endows them with Your salvation, and we, Your people, will sing the victory wherever we are, even as we lie down for sleep in the evening, Your Name, and Your praises shall be in our mouths.

Father, we thank You that the victory is ours, that our enemies will tremble at the sound of Your voice, and we will live to see the salvation of our loved from every tribe and tongue for all eternity.  So, Father, we will praise You under the moon and stars by night and under the sun as it shines throughout the day.

We will praise for all that You have done for us in the past, present and future, and we will blow our trumpets in Zion while the harps and lyres praise You with the tune from their strings. We will praise You with songs in our mouths as we dance to the rhythm to the flutes and strings with our feet.

Let all the nations rise up together and loudly clash their cymbals, so that the sound of our voices may be heard in the heavens, on the earth and under the earth as we decree and declare, Our God reigns!!! Our God reigns!!! Our God reigns for all eternity to the glory of God the Father, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, and sealed in the Name of His One and Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Christ for all eternity. And for this Father, we will not fail to give You the praise and the glory, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart will be acceptable in Your sight …

God as a Gardener

R. sanguineusReferences: Exodus Chapters 3 and 4.

From the time he was weaned through approximately age 40, Moses lived in royal splendor as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. In that time he received an excellent education that included content on history, culture, Egyptian religion, leadership, and military tactics and arms. Despite these benefits, Moses knew that he was not an Egyptian. He was an Israelite and his people were slaves in Egypt.

As an adult, Moses went to where some Israelites were working at slave labor. Seeing an Egyptian overseer beating an Israelite, Moses killed the Egyptian and hid the body. The next day Moses went to the same location and saw two Israelites fighting. When he tried to break up the fight, one man asked Moses, “Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” (Exodus 2:14). Hearing these words, Moses became afraid; he realized others knew…

Times in Which We Live

In the uncertain times in which we are living, God wants us to live as people of faith. In a world that is shaking, we stand upon His unshakeable Kingdom; amidst fear, we have peace beyond understanding; amidst sorrow, we have joy unspeakable; amidst trouble, we have every comfort and consolation; amidst uncertainty, we have the blessed hope.

The Bible reminds us to:

  • Be watchful
  • Be peaceful
  • Be prayerful
  • Be sober
  • Be ready

The Bible reminds us not to:

  • Be fearful
  • Be deceived
  • Be troubled
  • Be spiritually asleep
  • Be weighed down with cares

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7 (NLT)
