Image result for Psalm 104Hallelujah, bless the Name of the Lord for He is great and greatly to be praised. Father, we praise and worship You for who You are. We will enter into Your presence with thanksgiving in our hearts and we will enter into Your courts with joy.

Father, You are our Creator, and the created is not greater than You. No, Father, there is no one who can make void what You have spoken concerning moral and civil laws. No matter how hard this world tries to do things their way, Father, they will never succeed in anything they set their hands to do.

Father, Your love is from everlasting to everlasting. and Your goodness and mercy will endure forever. Thank You Father that righteousness, truth and mercy goes before Your holy face. Father, I ask You to help live a holy lifestyle which is pleasing and upright before You, as You have called us to be holy as You are holy.

Thus says the Lord: “Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor; I will silence; I will not tolerate a condescending smirk, an arrogant heart. I will look for those who are loyal in the land so that they may live with me and know my pleasure. Whoever walks with integrity will enter my service.  The one who makes a habit of deceit will not be welcome in my house; The one who lies will not remain in my presence for long,” say the Word of the Living God.

Father God, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and before time began, You were present. Father, we thank You that You are the God we can trust and rely upon and that Your Name will endure for all generations to come.

Father, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and the day will come when the nations will tremble at the very mention of Your Name, and every ruler upon the face of this earth will bow down to Your glory. Father, we thank You that You will rebuild again Your Holy City, Your City of Zion, and the nations will see You in all Your majestic splendor.

Father, we thank You that You will hear the prayer of the poor and destitute. We thank You that You will hear the prayers of those who moan and groan of those who are being held prisoner to the wiles and deceptions of the evil one. Father, we thank You that the time is coming when the captives will be set free and Your Name will be exalted in Zion and proclaimed in Jerusalem.

Father, it was You who in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth and set the skies above us with Your own hands. And although they will pass away someday, it is Your Name that will remain forever and ever. Father, we thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You may change Your mind about a matter, but Father, the principle of Your laws and decrees will never change.

Father, we thank You that as Your children, we will enjoy a good, long life, and our offspring will stand strong before You. Yes, Father You  are indeed great—You who are wrapped in glory and dressed in greatness. For covering, You choose light—Your clothes, sunset and moonrise. For a tent, You stretch out the heavens; for Your roof, You pitch the sky.

Your upper chamber is built on beams that lie in the waters overhead, and the clouds, Your chariot; You are held aloft by the wind. You make Your messengers like the winds; the breeze whispers Your words, Your servants are like the fire and flame.

You made the earth, and You made its frame stable forever, and they will never be shaken. You wrapped it in a gown of waters—ancient mountains under layers of sky. But when You reprimanded those waters, they fled; the thunder of Your voice sent them running away.

They hammered out new depths, heaved up new heights, and swallowed up whatever You commanded. At first, they covered the earth, but now You have bound them, and they know their appointed place. You send fresh streams that spring up in the valleys, in the cracks between hills.

Every animal of the open field makes its journey there for drink: wild donkeys lap at the brooks’ edgesBirds build their nests by the streams, singing among the branches. And the clouds, too, drink up their share, raining it back down on the mountains from the upper reaches of Your home, sustaining the whole earth with what comes from You. And the earth is satisfied.

Father, You grow grain for bread, grapes for wine, grass for cattle—all of this for us. And so we have bread to make our bodies strong, wine to make our hearts happy, oil to make our faces shine. Every good thing we need, Your earth provides; our faces grow flush with Your life in them.

The forests are Yours, O God, our Eternal Creator—stout hardwoods watered deeply, swollen with saplike the great cedars of Lebanon You planted, where many birds nest. There are fir trees for storks, high rocky mountains for wild goats, and stony cliffs for rock badgers. For each place, a resident, and for each resident, a home.

Then there is the moon that strides through her phases, marking seasons as she goes, and the sun hides at his appointed time, And with the darkness You bring, so comes night—when the prowling animals of the forest move about.

Then there are the lions that seek their food  from You, and since You are the True God, You give provide what they need to live. As the sun rises, they disappear and sleep away the day in their dens. And as the day dawns, the people take to the fields and to the shops and to the roads, to all the places that people work, until evening when they rest.

Father, we have so much to be thankful to You for. We acknowledge that You created the heavens and the earth along with all the creatures that are on the earth, the fish that swim in the sea and the birds that fly in the air. Father, we thank You for being the source of our strength and the strength of our lives.

We thank You that as we look up to You that You open Your hand to provide for our every need. Fathe, it is by Your Spirit breath that life is created, and the face of the earth is made beautiful and is renewed. Father, we long for the day when we will be abiding in Your eternal presence for all eternity.

Father, we sing of Your goodness and mercy right now while there is breath within us, and as long as we live, O God we will call my God, because You are truly the One and Only and True and Living God. I pray Father that the meditations of our hearts may be acceptable in Your sight for all eternity, in Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
