Dear World …

For God so loves the World that He sent Jesus the Christ who was and is and is to come, the True Messenger of the Living God … Shalom

The Isaiah 53:5 Project

His lovingkindness and His everlasting arms are reaching out to you right now.

He so loves His children who still abide on the face of the earth that He sent His Son, Jesus, over two thousand years ago to die in our place by paying the price for our sins which was death. Do you realize or can you even begin to comprehend the horror of such a death by crucifixion under the Roman Empire.

But yet Christ was willing to embrace His cross for the cause of His Father and for our sakes. I know many upon reading…

Praying Psalm 30

Lord God, thank you for healing me of my affliction. When I cried out to You, You heard me and healed me. My soul was headed to the grave, but You kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing to the Lord, all of the saints, and give thanks at the remembering of His holiness.   imgres

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your anger endures for a moment, but in Your favor is life.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that though weeping may be endured for a night, joy comes in the morning.

Lord God, after I have been disciplined, find favor in me to receive Your life and Your joy

Lord God, find favor in me, and give me life.

Lord God, find favor in me, and give me joy.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can hear us.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can show mercy.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can be our helper.

Lord God, hear me.

Lord God, have mercy on me.

Lord God, be my helper.

Lord God, hear me and have mercy on me, for You are my helper.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are take off our sackcloth.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can give us gladness.

Lord God, turn my mourning into dancing.

Lord God, cast away my sackcloth.

Lord God, give me gladness.

Lord God, thank You for turning my mourning into dancing, casting away my sackcloth, and for giving me gladness.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Lord my God, cause me to sing praises to You and not be silent, I will give thank to You forever.

Lord my God, cause me to give thank to You forever.

Lord my God, as long as my glory can sing praises to You and not be silent, I will give thank to You forever.

Lord my God, thank You for allowing me the opportunity to worship You.

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

A Predictable Path

“Indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of
the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss
of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.”
PHILIPPIANS 3:8
For the Christian, Christ is increasing, Christ is becoming larger and larger, Christ is becoming the focus. It is quite simple to see who is, and who is not, living up to this standard.
The more spiritually mature a person is the more Christ-centered they cannot help but become. This is the unavoidable and inevitable consequence of becoming a Christian, a disciple of Jesus. This is how the Holy Spirit leads each and every true believer, and there are no exceptions to the rule. It is as predictable and certain as the sunrise following after the darkness of night.

Prevailing Prayer

“Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard.”
-DANIEL 10:12

Daniel prevailed over Earth because he was of Heaven. Daniel prevailed over Darkness because he was of the Light. Daniel prevailed over Death because he had Life. Daniel was delivered from the lion’s den, and lived to continue his ministry of prayer. After such an ordeal we might expect him to go ahead and retire, to quietly settle down, and relax a little bit. Certainly he has earned a vacation. But shortly thereafter we find him battling in the spirit for twenty-one days while he waited for yet another answer to be delivered from Heaven. Can there be any doubt as to the outcome?

Daniel does not stop. This is what it means to overcome. You can never coast, you can never let down your guard, you can never just let things slide for a day or two. Overcoming is not a once in awhile thing, it is an all-the-time thing. Settle that within yourself right now.
