“The black community in America is hurting. The callous losses of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota—followed by the revenge murders of five Dallas police officers—have added fresh wounds to a community intimately familiar with mourning.”

“This is a community that has scriptures of comfort memorized like weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

“More than any other cause, the pro-life movement is uniquely equipped to come alongside our black brothers and sisters to collectively grieve over the shedding of innocent blood.”

“The pro-life movement understands that we serve a God who hears the cries of bloodshed and demands justice for the innocent.”

“We know a systemic injustice against black lives in America started long ago; now, because of advanced technology and social media, we are forced to confront what has always been.”

“Today more than ever, it’s time to pray without ceasing, to bear one another’s burdens, and to vigorously pursue community with people from all walks of life. This is where meaningful and lasting change begins.”

A Testimony and A Prayer

Father God, thank You for bringing back to my remembrance of how You saved my life that day as I had to put a suddenly put on the brakes of the motorcycle that I was riding upon. Father God, I truly thought my time was up that day, when, because of having to put the brakes of the bike on so suddenly, that I saw myself go over those handlebars and do a 360 degree flip,

but somehow, I was miraculously straightened out on my side, and was safely landed to the ground by the guiding hands of angels on assignment on my behalf that day, and I landed as if I were a baseball playing who was sliding in to make to home base.

Lord God, thank You, for position my sister, Jonette (not the correct spelling I know), but I do remember her today and I thank You for her life. Father God, thank You for sending as I saw what looked like to be white sheet coming down from heaven as my sister came over to tend to my need.

Lord, I was miraculously able to stand up by Your mercy and grace, and as I did so, I heard a female voice say, “Look she got up!” Father, that was You, and my heart doesn’t know how to adequately express how to thank You, because it goes way beyond what any word can describe, but I am here today to say “thank You Lord God, for saving my life that day.”

Thank You, Lord God, that I was able to be at peace with the senior, who was not able to see me coming due to the sun that was glaring in his eyes. He was genuinely concerned, and truly sorry for what happened as it was evident by both his composure and the truthfulness that was coming from his

Thank You, Father, that after talking to him for a little while, I was able to advise to him to buy some shades that could fit over his lenses as he was wearing prescription glasses, so I could understand how the sun blinded him, because this kind gentlemen could not see me coming.

And Lord, I want to thank You for saving me the night I took a deck on the bike I was riding due to having one drink too many, I blacked out, but God, all I can say is, “but God.” I have a nose that is ¼ inch out of socket Lord, but hey,

I would rather have this as a reminder to thank You for being the Living God in my life today who saved my life as opposed to serving the god of this world who wanted to take my life.

Thank You, Father, for all those whom You sent to meet my needs that night, and for this I will not fail to give You the praise and glory. Two bike accidents, two different occasions, one occurred before I got saved, and the second accident occurred after I was saved,

and to God be the glory for the great things He has done and will continue to do for me on my behalf, so I will give You the honor and praise that is due Your Holy Name both now and forevermore, in Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.

Why I Must Get Back 2 Praying 4 You

When I first began to blog, my heart’s purpose was to pray for the nations and their needs both publicly and privately, but somehow and somewhere along this journey, I strayed from my sole purpose for blogging in the first place, which was to pray.

I desired that God will bless others in knowing that they are being prayed for, no matter who they were or what part of this world they live in.

To me praying not just for leaders of nations to have their eyes opened from darkness to light, and to be set free from being under the influence of Satan and his cohorts, but to also pray for souls no matter who they are.

My prayer is that souls will come to the saving knowledge about who Jesus Christ, so that they may know the truth of who He His, His purpose for coming, and where He sits today.

I am a very inexperienced writer who is attempting to write a booklet on prayer, and would appreciate you praying for me as I undertake such an adventure which is totally new for me.

But this I do know, that with the help of the Holy Spirit, all things are possible 🙂

This much I can tell you is that the the Title of the Booklet is called: “Fountains of Praise,” and would also like to include you through your prayer needs. Help me to help you by praying for you.

And  since my posts will be few and far in between, I just want you to know that I am praying for you 🙂 Selah!

God bless you 🙂

Why pray through history?

Write the vision and make it plain … and prayer is the way to go as it is like a wellspring of life that brings wealth, health, strength to the soul 🙂

τοῖς οὐρανοῖς Ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά

In my devotions this morning, I was reading “The Divine Conspiracy” by Dallas Willard. I was bumping along in Chapter 7, (it is a wonderfully dense book), and I was stopped in my tracks by the following excerpt about the holiness of G-d’s name and why the Savior underscored that we uniquely respect it:

“This request is based upon the deepest need of the human world. Human life is not about human life. Nothing will go right in it until the greatness and goodness of its source and governor is adequately grasped. His very name is then held in the highest possible regard. Until that is so, the human compass will always be pointing in the wrong direction, and individual lives as well as history as a whole will suffer from constant and fluctuating disorientation. Candidly, that is exactly the condition we find ourselves in.”…
