The Adam and Eve Factor (Genesis 1 and 2)

thIn the Beginning God said: “Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth” (Genesis 1:26-28, AMP).

Jesus in Matthew 19: 4-6 said: “Have you never read that He Who made them from the beginning made them male and femaleAnd said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be united firmly (joined inseparably) to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate)” (AMP).

Here we see that God, just as He did in Genesis Chapter 1:3-29 God Said and spoke those words before creation existed – creation could not have possible existed until God spoke His creative words into becoming. Let’s take a little closer look at these verses we are discussing in Genesis 1:3-19. They write as follows:

And God said, “Let there be light; and there was light.”

6 “And God said, Let there be a firmament [the expanse of the sky] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters [below] from the waters [above].”

7 “And God made the firmament [the expanse] and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so.”

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected into one place [of standing], and let the dry land appear. And it was so.

10 God called the dry land Earth, and the accumulated waters He called Seas. And God saw that this was good (fitting, admirable) and He approved it.

11 And God said, “Let the earth put forth [tender] vegetation: plants yielding seed and fruit trees yielding fruit whose seed is in itself, each according to its kind, upon the earth. And it was so.”

12 “The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed according to their own kinds and trees bearing fruit in which was their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable) and He approved it.”

14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs and tokens [of God’s provident care], and [to mark] seasons, days, and years, 15 And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light upon the earth. And it was so.”

16 “And God made the two great lights—the greater light (the sun) to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night. He also made the stars.”

17 “And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth,”

18 “To rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.”

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly and swarm with living creatures, and let birds fly over the earth in the open expanse of the heavens. 21 God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (suitable, admirable) and He approved it. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the fowl multiply in the earth(AMP).

24 And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creeping things, and [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds. And it was so.”

25 “And God made the [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and domestic animals according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.”

26 God said, “Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.”

29 And God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the land and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food.”

30 “And to all the animals on the earth and to every bird of the air and to everything that creeps on the ground—to everything in which there is the breath of life—I have given every green plant for food. And it was so.”

31 “And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day” (AMP).

1st Question: Was God in Genesis 1:1-31 speaking to A-dam (M) and Womb-man (F) in the supernatural or natural realm? I’m so glad this question has come up 🙂 because the answer is that God spoke to them both in the supernatural realm before He placed A-dam in the garden. Let us continue on according to Scripture as to when A-dam (Ma) was actually placed within the Garden of Eden.

This is the history of the heavens and of the earth when they were created. In the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavensWhen no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not [yet] caused it to rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the ground, But there went up a mist (fog, vapor) from the land and watered the whole surface of the ground—Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted)” (Genesis 2:4-8, AMP).

2nd Question: When was A-dam actually given a physical body in order that He may walk upon the earth? Scripture will answer this for us. In Genesis 2:5-8 it is written that:

When no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not [yet] caused it to rain upon the earth and there was no man to till the ground, But there went up a mist (fog, vapor) from the land and watered the whole surface of the ground—Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted)” (AMP).

There are two important facts to note exactly what it is that makes humankind so distinct and separate from the animal kingdom. If you noticed, God created everything and approved it, but the animal kingdom is (1) not created in the image and likeness of God, and (2) God did not breathe His breath into the animal kingdom, but only into humankind thus making the A-dam or hu-man race very distinct and separate from the animal kingdom.

I do believe that the animals have a soul, otherwise they would not be able to feel pain or any emotion. Animals will yelp, scream or cry when harmed which proves that they have feelings and so it is with the humankind. Humankind also has a soulish realm wherein is contained our feelings or emotions. Up to that point we are the same, but once God breathed His breath of life in the soul of A-dam, it was then that the hu-man A-dam became a living being who had then been given a free will to make decisions. “Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7, AMP).

Now, remember God had already spoken the animal kingdom into existence before A-dam (supernatural being) was place into the physical realm as a hu-man (super and natural became one and the same) which means that A-dam had not seen the animal kingdom until God presented them to him. Genesis 2:18:20 writes the following:

Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every [wild] beast and living creature of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them; and whatever Adam called every living creature, that was its name. And Adam gave names to all the livestock and to the birds of the air and to every [wild] beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.

It is also important to note that God did not create the animal kingdom to interact sexually with humankind, and why is this? Because God had instructed or commanded them to produce after their own kind.Genesis 1:24-25 writes:

And God said: Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creeping things, and [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds. And it was so. And God made the [wild] beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and domestic animals according to their kinds, and everything that creeps upon the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good (fitting, pleasant) and He approved it.

4th Question: Where was the first marriage instituted? Once again I am so glad this question was asked 🙂 The institution was instituted by God when He present Womb-man to A-dam in the Garden of Garden, and not in the heavenlies. Genesis 2:21-25 writes:

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and while he slept, He took one of his ribs or a part of his side and closed up the [place with] flesh. And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man He built up and made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Then Adam said, This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a manTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not embarrassed or ashamed in each other’s presence” (AMP).

It is also important to note that God did not re-present Womb-man (woman) to the A-dam hu-man (super and natural at the same time) until he was ready to receive her, and although A-dam could not see her, Womb-man not as a hu-man had walked, talked, saw and spoke in agreement with A-dam in all that he had said and done before becoming a womb-man hu-man (super and natural at the same time. A-dam did not give birth nor did he begat the Womb-man on his own. The male was to procreate with his helpmeet (female) in order to produce after their own kind. Jesus in Matthew 19: 4-6 said:

“Have you never read that He Who made them from the beginning made them male and femaleAnd said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be united firmly (joined inseparably) to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate)” (AMP).

Therefore, what a doubt God created A-dam and Womb-man in His perfect in image and likeness to procreate humankind according to the sample principle He had spoken over the animal kingdom in Genesis 1:24-25…”according to their own kind.” Therefore without a doubt the institution of marriage according to the Word was to be between a male and a female, and the consummation of said marriage was only to be activated within the confines of marriage. It is within the confines of marriage is where the Agape love of God between a man and woman becomes one in body, soul and spirit. And this is another reason why God said in: Leviticus 18:22-23

You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination. Neither shall you lie with any beast and defile yourself with it; neither shall any woman yield herself to a beast to lie with it; it is confusion, perversion, and degradedly carnal” (AMP). Those who live a same-sex lifestyle or those who practice beastly will never be able to justify their action before a Holy God, because His Word is clear and precise on this subject.

5th and final Question: Did A-dam call Eve, “Eve” before or after the fall? Once again I am so glad this question was asked 🙂 because Eve was not called “Eve” until after the fall. “The man called his wife’s name Eve [life spring], because she was the mother of all the living” (Genesis 3:20). Eve was known as Womb-man before the fall because when God presented her to A-dam, A-dam in Genesis 2:23 said: “… This [creature] is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman (Womb-man), because she was taken out of a man” (AMP)

Summary:

We were created in God’s perfect image and likeness in the supernatural or unseen realm before God provided a body for A-dam to physically walk in the natural or seen realm upon the face of the earth.

Man is distinctly different to the animal kingdom in that he is made in the perfect image and likeness of God and became a living perfect being after God had bread His Spirit life into A-dam’s nostrils.

Womb-man was created from out of the rib of A-dam first and then God presented her to him.

Marriage is an institution that was created by God between A-dam (M) and Womb-man (F) in the Garden of Eden.

Sexual contact is only to be activated within the confines of marriage as this is the means instituted by God for humankind to procreate or reproduce after their own kind.

Practicing the same-sex lifestyle or beastily is forbidden by God and therefor any who practice such are placing themselves in great danger of God having to pour out His wrath or judgment upon them.

A-dam and womb-man walked side by side equally yoked and were perfect in every respect which means they were already like God.

Lastly and most important, Womb-man was not called Eve until after the fall, and that is another teaching all in itself. God bless you 🙂

  1. I like this method of expository writing. When we let the scriptures speak for themselves, and then clarify by way of them, we have the best chance that the post will do its best!

    Good job here Pauline,

      1. Pauline, you are a wonderfully talented writer, of that there is no question. And I wouldn’t dare to quell your energy for your ministry to others about Christ Jesus.

I will share this however. I have found that posts over 400-550 words are not usually read, at least not in full. This can take away from their education on a topic, and all of your hard work at the same time.

I might suggest that you look at ways to present a topic with a bible verse as a guide in a “daily thought” kind of format.

You may get more readers, especially if you occasionally mx in a YouTube video on a topic or some gospel music occasionally.

This is not a criticism by any means. You do as you see fit. You said you may be open to advice and having done blogging for years I have formed some opinions of what works and what may not do so well…

Hope you will take this constructively, as I love what you write and the heart you express in the Lord!

      2. Fabulous advice Steve … please keep this coming .. my prayers are spontaneous and they will be the foundations that I will use for future posts, so once I have completed the Psalms, I will go back and repost fresh posts from the prayers that are there.
And, yes, I agree when it comes to long posts, and I am trying to shorten them as the Spirit leads … I treasure your advice.
Can, I share this with You please. My came home from work one day and said the Holy Spirit told Him to tell me to write a book. Now, since I love to pray, my topic will be on prayer. The Title is “Why the “Y” in Prayer Matters to God. They “Y” represents a person which will be explained in the introduction part of the book. So, any advice You are able to share with me will always be appreciated. God bless You. 🙂

      3. This sounds very interesting already. A book on prayer(s) has got to be targeted to a specific audience, so you’ll need to search out a publisher who accepts this type of material.

That is unless you decide to self-publish. It used to be a real “no-no” to publish your own books, but maybe that is changing a bit these days.

Again, people will want a “quick reference” probably of short prayers and for specific occasions. So I’d look at things that way to start.

For now that’s it. If you want/need further advise, don’t hesitate to ask me!

      6. The writing community is hard to break into. Many these days “self-publish” which is something you may look into.

I am surprised no one has encouraged you in this. Perhaps it’s because it is so very hard to get published…

Well, we’ll see how it goes with you. Best of fortune in your endeavor Pauline!!
